THIS WAS A REAL FUN & INTERESTING PROJECT, RECENTLY FINISHED & ON ITS WAY HOME TO THE COUNTRY OF ROMANCE & CHAMPAGNE, FRANCE THAT IS : purchased in Little Rock, Arkansas, this Buggy belonging to Mr. Martin O Connor from England / France is going to be be restored to full glory and speed using Corvair Power, in memory of Steeve Mc Queen . After searching for the right shop in the U.S, Martin chose Rafee Corvair Specialist to convert the buggy to 140 HP Corvair Power, install front disc brakes, custom wheels with Mickey Thompson tires, and many other upgrades.Vair you have it: another example of the versatility of the Corvair Engine!

Man, finally, after so many attempts to get the right studs for the disc brakes,I got them. I got the right parts to fit, not by sheer luck. I had to come up with solutions on my own, I am so glad I can go beyond what a mechanic does, I am not afraid to get in there and modify and try and try again, without giving up, until the job is not just done , but done the right way to my satisfaction. I don't wanna sound like I am the shit, but I learn from my mistakes, and let me tell you, so many idiots out there calling themselves "part guy" "expert this or that", but without the part #, they are total imbecils, unable to answer any question, that goes for many VW suppliers, and so-called Corvair people as well. But you know what, I AM UP TO THE CHALLENGE & I DIG IT, and I learn new things, so it's all good. Here is the future Thomas Crown Replica, in memory of Steve Mc Queen. This fool had Style!

Far Out ! The headers have arrived, man, they look sweet ! This fool knows what he is doing , not bad . I thought I'd take some shots , so you guys can see the awesome job in these headers. And just wait til you see them installed ! Yeah, brilliant all the way !!!!

FINALLY IT WAS TIME TO SAY GOODBYE TO THE BEAST, BUT NOT WITHOUT TAKING IT FOR A SPIN, MAN, THIS BABY'S LOUD !!!VRRR !!! ALL WRAPPED UP FOR SAFE ARRIVAL, LONG TRIP AHEAD ! SOON, SHE'LL BE READY TO CRUISE ON THE FRENCH RIVIERA, WE'LL POST SOME MORE PIX IN THE FUTURE. i'M OUT OF HERE 4 NOW !
