Coming Soon !!! special wheel kits for 60-64 vairs made available to you at a special price. As you can tell, I am an early model dude. I dig the design, I believe it was ahead of its time but let's face it : STOCK CORVAIRS ARE REAL UNSAFE !, ESPECIALLY WITH THE CHEAP-ASS TIRES 180-85-13". I don't know if you guys are aware of this, but you can replace them with 195-70-13" or 185-70-13". Of course, it is not gonna fix the problem 100% , but you WILL notice a difference! I would recommend to install some Heavy Duty KYB shocks in the rear and Light Duty in the front ; Also what will help is lowering the front end by cutting some of the coils in the front , and the rear as well. As far as the height goes, that is up to you. This is THE CHEAPEST WAY TO GREATLY IMPROVE THE HANDLING OF YOUR EARLY MODEL. HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF MY WORK IN MY OWN 64' S AND SOME WORK THAT I DID FOR CUSTOMERS .WITH MY SET-UP, YOU ARE ABLE TO GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL WHEELS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. I CHECKED MANY EXISTING SET-UPS AND I DID NOT LIKE THE FACT THAT ONCE YOU HAD CHANGED, IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO GO BACK TO STOCK. MY KIT WILL BE AVAILABLE SOMETIME IN 2008, IN 17" , OR 17 1/2". 64 PG 355 SINGLE TRACTION, 110 HP 0.60 PISTONS, 270 ISKY CAM , DAILY DRIVER. WHEELS:17" X7, W.DISC BRAKES.

63 110 HP automatic Below is an illustration of the tip I was sharing with you earlier, namely that you can improve the handling of your early model by cutting , not reheating- some of the coil springs from the front & rear to your satisfaction, adding some Heavy Duty KYB shocks, front & rear-available under suspension parts click here-, and some decent tires 185-70-13". Man, what a sweet ride! Here you see this 63 Maroon Coupe already modified. You can do all this yourself on a pretty tight budget, let's say about $300, for a big improvement in safety, now, THAT'S WORTH IT! Stick it 2 Ralph Nader !!!
